Migration Agents Capstone Assessment

The Migration Agents Capstone Assessment is an independent competency-based assessment that tests a candidate's skills and knowledge to meet the Occupational Competency Standards (OCS) for Australian Registered Migration Agents. All aspects of the assessment must be passed at the minimum threshold to register as a Migration Agent with the Office of the Migration Agents Registration Authority (OMARA). Registered Migration Agents are then able to provide immigration assistance in Australia.

Capstone Assessments allow candidates to synthesize their learning into a few assessments which are holistically assessed. In short, the Migration Agents Capstone Assessment is assessing a candidate's ability to operate as a Registered Migration Agent in Australia. The assessment will assess all the Occupational Competency Standards to ensure a candidate's competence in operating as a Registered Migration Agent.

Legal Training Australia (LTA) is the sole provider of the Australian Migration Agents Capstone Assessment and will provide regular intake opportunities for candidates to participate in the Capstone Assessment.
