Liana Allan is the Founder and Managing Director at Visacorp Immigration Agency (2001 - Present) and is Australian Registered Migration Agent No. 0104178. Liana is the Director and co-founder of Legal Training Australia Pty Ltd (2008 - Present), and the Founder of the Migration Alliance Inc, the peak professional association for Registered Migration Agents in Australia (2009 - Present). The board positions Liana has held at Migration Alliance are as follows: Vice-Convenor (2009), Convenor (2011 - 2013), Treasurer (2013 - 2014) and Secretary (2014 - present) Presently Liana is working with government to establish a Pro-Bono 'Immigration Clinic' in Sydney's new migrant hot-spot suburb of Auburn. Liana has had Migration Alliance successfully approved as a Voluntary Organisation by the Office of the Migration Agents Registration Authority to offer pro-bono immigration advice and assistance to disadvantaged migrant groups in the area. Liana is passionate about immigration policy. Liana is Bachelors degree qualified and recently completed 'Women and Power: Leadership in a new world' at Harvard University's JFK School of Government and Politics, USA in May 2014. In her spare time Liana plays competitive netball, enjoys spending quality time with her two young children, blogging fresh immigration news on the MA website, and watching heated 'Lib-Lab' political debates. |
